How to add images to a post
« on: 07 Jan 19, 10:57 pm »
Photos or other images can be added to a post by using the "Attach" section at the bottom of the "Start a new topic" or "Reply" form.  See image below:
  • Click on the "Choose File" button and choose the image you want to add to your post.
  • Leave the setting to the right of the filename as "End-of-post expandable thumbnail".
  • If you want to add another image, click on "(more attachments)"
  • Then just save the post.

There's a limit of on the total size of attachments because storage on the forum costs money.

Any images bigger than 1024 pixels wide or tall, will be automatically resized.

Note that the Preview button does not show images or other attachments in the preview.  So, click Post and don't worry, you can always go back and edit it.   If you do want to "modify" your post, then you click Save when you've finished edited - a bit inconsistent but hey, lets call it quirky!

It's a very basic system but it works.

A bug that prevented some people from attaching photos when viewing the mobile version of the site has been fixed - hopefully that'll help.

Here’s a potential explanation for the occasional “upside down” photos people are getting.
