Website and forum changes
« on: 20 May 22, 10:33 am »
Hi,

Over the next few weeks, we'll be changing things around a bit so that we have a new website and then this forum will link from the website.   This means you'll see changes to the URL (web address), a temporary website, some of the content on the forum that was only on here because we didn't have a website will move and general mayhem and chaos.

You may see the address web address cyclekartsgb.createaforum.com appear in places - that's all good.

Please bear with us through the disruption.
Thanks

If you're having difficulties logging into the forum, you may have to "clear the cache" on your browser and then go to www.cyclekartsgb.com.

This gets rid of out of date information that might be confusing your computer and the way it's connecting to the forum.

How you do this is different on different computers and different browsers.  Luckily, a quick search on Google will normally give you some step by step instructions.  So, depending on what computer and browser you use search for something like:

clear cache internet explorer windows 10
clear cache Google Chrome Mac
clear cache samsung tablet
clear cache iPad

You get the idea.

If you have the option of clearing data for individual websites, then clear www.cyclekartsgb.com and cyclekartsgb.createaforum.com.

There's a few more tech changes happening which might mean the website/forum come and go ... hopefully won't be too disruptive.

If you're having problems with logging into the forum, don't forget to try "clearing your browser cache".   There's more on how to do this a couple of posts above in this thread.
