That's Well explained by the drawing Stefan and I like it a lot. A good sturdy set up that's simple and practical.
If you can drive round corners, you're not going fast enough.

Re: Bugatti Type 37 Build - wheel spinners
« Reply #166 on: 14 Apr 22, 09:29 am »
Don't think I ever posted about the wheel spinners on the Bugatti.   These are 3D printed and are designed to slip inside the outer edge of a pit bike wheel hub.  They are secured by a couple of small cable ties that go through the loops on the back and around a spoke - they're hidden by the spinner.   This design is a copy of the Bugatti spinner and in the end I removed the middle to make it easier to access and check the wheel fixings.

I gave them a quick sand, a few coats of primer and top coat.

I'm very happy to share the Fusion360 CAD file or an STL file if anyone would like it.

Stefan. If you send me an .stl file I'll print one off for you am my SLA printer. The layers are 0.20mm so you just cant see them really.
Can I have the CAD file too?
Thanks

I would appreciate the STL file Stefan, quite like a pair for the Morgan, I'll print them in the aluminium filament and see how they buff up.

I printed and fitted them midway through last season - but thanks anyway.   Clearly made a big impression! ;)

Here's the STL and Fusion360 files:  https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vmC8sVNv47BPkIo81vBjwzRVflQH5jyf?usp=sharing
The forum software doesn't allow me to attached the files but you should be able to download them from the link above.  The version I've shared has the centre section missing as this is more likely to clear axle nuts etc.

Thanks Stefan, I'll have a play with printing them in the aluminium filament, and report back.

No idea if this is going to make things quieter…
It’s made from bits of tumble dryer and garden chipper.

A beautiful piece of art Stefan if it does nothing. Top repurposing  :)

Re: Bugatti Type 37 Build Caster wedges

Made a couple of wedges to increase the caster on my Bugatti.  Will see how it feels at Haynes on Monday.

I’m the second photo the u-bolts haven’t been tightened.

Re: Bugatti Type 37 Build - Diffuser?
Installed the diffuser on the Bugatti.

No of course not!  Just a vain attempt to keep the Saunton sand from turning my drivetrain to filings.  Thank you Chris L for the idea of using the corrugated plastic.  Hope it doesn’t melt!

Next step, clean and dry lube the chain.
