Hi all.
David Craig kindly put me onto this possibility of a meet venue for next year and I have been speaking with the organisers who are very keen for us to attend as a group. https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Event/Chester-Le-Street-Steam-Vintage-and-Fun-Fair-279249445963170/
What makes it more interesting for us is that we have the opportunity to share the track that will be set up in the adjacent field by the Northwest Lawn Mower Racing Association throughout both days. Additionally we can set up our own pit area with period gear/costume etc. Our entry will be free and we can camp on site Friday, Saturday, Sunday. There will be facilities on site... including a beer tent. Alternatively Dave can arrange accommodation nearby, he has reserved the weekend pro tem.

I have been speaking with the chair of NWLMRA (Daz Whitehead), they are very interested in our new CK following. There will be some insurance details to sort, but not insurmountable. The main concern that Daz has is to ensure that CycleKarts will be able to run on the same grass track as they do and he has sensibly suggested that we have a visit with them on their closed practice weekend.

This will be held on 18th-19th 2020 at the www.brindledistillery.co.uk Lancashire. Again camping is available.

I will insert both these dates on the events calendar but will be pleased to understand who is willing to travel to these. I will attend the April practice session and would like to think some others are also available to join.

Not one that I can attend unfortunately, as I'm at Llangollen Eisteddfod until the 11th of July.

Much though I’d like to, I suspect it’s at least 5 hours from home towing a trailer so probably not for the practice day but possibly for the event.

I can't do the practice day, but pencil me in for the main event please!
