Hi Russbar, The museum opens at 10 and the meeting will start at 10.30. I'm looking forward to meeting all the newcomers and catching up with all the Herberts that made last year such fun.

I will bring my No.2 in the CKWC 2021 Dodge Baquet for display but we haven't hired the test track so may be a no for test drives. My CK needs some repairs after an arduous season last year and will probably fall apart more than it usually does.

Cheers Chris. I will get there before 10 to get the stickers from the duty manager and hand them out. The cost is still only  £10 for each person. Not sure if you pay me or the museum though.  This gives you museum and conference entry and the 20% discount  in the cafe.

I'll keep an eye out for you. We can wander around lost together.

For all those who are wandering around lost lol, I could wear a distinctive fancy dress with the club logo emblazoned on my person. In fact I have a gorgeous navy blue blazer with brass buttons that I could remove the Rushden Doggers Society coat of arms badge on the breast pocket and sew on a CKGB one. It'll look right smart.

Dogging with a blazer on Jim?

Yes, only one more sleep until the Big Day!
We have a tight schedule tomorrow morning to ensure that we have as much free time as possible to look around the superb motor museum pm. I will attempt to steer us through the morning with an ambitious agenda as follows:

10.00. Museum open. Grab a coffee
10.30. Lecture Room 1. Inaugural meeting of the CycleKarts GB Club. Provisional Chair Stefan Nahajski .
11.00. Short break.
11.15. Review of events for 2022.
11.30. Bespoke components (springs, wheel hubs, adapter plates etc) sourcing, funding and distribution going forward.
11.45. Any (brief please) technical questions from new builders in the room.
12.00. (Time permitting) Deviations from the Stevenson Formula. Room discussion on how we encourage innovation and new ideas whilst still preserving the intended limited performance of CycleKarts. Could be Fireworks!!
12.20. The Stan Cup.
12.30. Lunch Break (20% off in the restaurant)
PM. Free time to view the museum / View CycleKarts in the display area / CK Parts Swap-Meet, Sale/Freebies in car park/ display area
NOTE the lecture room is available to us all day if small groups wish to meet informally

The wearing of facemasks tomorrow is not a condition and is left to the discretion of individuals.

We have three completed (nearly completed) CycleKarts on display tomorrow kindly provided by Jim Tanner, Chris Loader and Adrian Gosling.

Looking forward to seeing some new faces.

Excellent.

I’m bringing some 17x3.25 tyres in case anyone is after some.

For some of us who for various reasons can't attend, is there any possibility of a Zoom type attendance?

Ah, I'd not had any requests to provide this so haven't set anything up.  I'll try to get in contact with the museum and see what wifi they've got.  If I can get something arranged then I'll post details for the Zoom call on this thread.  Fingers crossed.

No answer from the museum but the website says that there is wifi in the room we're using so lets assume that'll work.
