I will have to do it on mass I think. If everyone going can Send me an email with your name, address, job title , mobile number, ect I can enter them into the portal.
By the end of the week please.

I get it now! This was the message I didn't see. I'd just been watching emails about the event. Lesson learned.

Morning all, I have just been trawling the Sywell website trying to find mention of food availability at the venue, and, not a mention of consumables anywhere. As Mrs JimR1999 will not go anywhere without foreknowledge of the eating arrangements, can anyone with experience of this event give me an idea of availability of grub in the area around the campsite and at the event?

I haven't been before but there should be the usual burger vans ect during the day. The Aviator Hotel on site does food and because there is evening entertainment I would think something will be open at night. I will bring some beer and a packet of crisps to keep me fed at the camp site.

Same as Jim
Bringing beer for camping - plus usual gas cooking arrangements. And assume burgers, curries etc at the show.

I am hoping to get to Sywell just before lunchtime to find the pitch and get my wrist band ect. The only big task will be to put up the canvas garage tent. We will have a banner, some vintage accessories and the directors chairs.
Best to bring a cover for your kart.
If anyone has some suitable vintage automotive trinketry they think would be good on the stand then please bring it along.

If anyone has some vintage style clothing please wear it on the stand for a more vintage look. Please no shell suits and cigars. Don't forget to bring all your forms including the indemnity one.

Hi Jim
Mine won't be very movable as it is not finished. I am bringing it without axles fitted and will fit them there (it won't go through the gate with them fitted!). And my front suspension isn't on, so the nose will have to be on a block of wood. Please just tell me where you want it plonked and hopefully it can just stay in that one place all weekend.

My Jimmy Savile outfit for the fancy dress had better go back to the hire shop - Doh.  ;D

I would like to say a massive thankyou to all those that came along. It was a wonderful weekend and lovely to meet some new people with their beautifully made and nearly made karts. You guys put on a great demo up the track and answered the many many questions from the public at the stand. The apres show was also filled with a lot of banter and good humour keeping our spirits high during the chilly evenings at the site.

Looked like a cracking weekend,  very jealous of you all having events like this on your door step.
I'll maybe have to start planning for next year to come across and speak to everyone. Here's hoping.
