My write up Jim.
Nice write up Graham.

I have just cancelled my room booked at the Villa B&B (via Booking.com) as I no longer need it.

If anyone is looking for a comfortable bed, be quick, snap it up!

The weather is looking spot on for Sunday and a warm evening for camping on the Saturday. We shouldn't need a fire pit but if anyone wants to bring one along that'll be good. Also if anyone wants to bring a BBQ that would be good. I will be putting up loads of festoon lights on 8ft posts around the camping area so we can party till late if necessary.

The Star and Garter pub has very kindly been onto Radio Northampton and they have been publicising the event this week.

Hi Andy, 12ish should be great if you can get there then. I think we'll probably have a lunch break about 1. It should be a lot of fun and giggles on Sat without having to work too hard and flog ourselves to a heart attack. Sunday should be a relaxed fun day with some semi competitive driving in short heats. There'll be plenty of breaks between for refreshments and socialising.
I was checking the field last night and it's looking tip top for us. With the grass cut it makes the camping area bigger than I thought and I'm sure we are going to have a fab night with mucho banter.
I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up which should settle my nerves hopefully because they're shot with worry about this event failing. This is the first solely run CKGB event and it's been a mountain of work for me, luckily I have had support from a few CKGB members and The Rushden Lambretta Club.
Only two more sleeps and one of those will be on site.

just finished fitting the new wheels and tyres to Jane, then completed all the safely checks, so just need to put the panels back on and put her back on the trailer.  We have mini firepit but can't find it at the moment🤔
Will be there between 11 and 12 tomorrow to help set up 🤗😎

Wish I could attend this one. It sounds like it will be a blast.
Just thinking,  do you have any way to water the track ? With all this dry weather we have lately it could get quite dusty.

I would like to say a huge thankyou to everyone who came along to the Star and Garter. What a fantastic group of people we had that made it such a successful weekend. You guys were brilliant on and off track and Bill was a superstar on Saturday going beyond as he wasn't able to be there on the Sunday to have a drive. Stefan was an excellent Clerk of the Course keeping things in order along with Anelia who gave us first aid cover. I don't think she had to repair anyone which is how I like it. The Rushden Lambretta lads were also a massive help in many ways and did a fine job of Marshalling. The Star and Garter were very hospitable and we certainly had a great laugh in the pub with our meal and beers on Saturday night. I had a great weekend and am so grateful of all your support.
