Please do a check with other major motorsport events before conflicts arise (especially classic car ones). Goodwood FOS was the last one at Stretton, first weekend in Sept always conflicts for me. August 11 is another with major meetings all over the place.
I appreciate that you can't satisfy all the people all the time.

Rhys, I’m sure we’ll have a range of views on what the major events are. If we limit it to those including pre-war cars, please could you provide your list of events we might try to avoid and the dates of the events.
Of course, many events are set on those dates that are “good weekends to run an event” so we’ll probably have lots of clashes, but let’s see.

I was about to edit the post to make that comment Stefan. Personally the pre war events are what matter, apart from the ones which I should attend for work, but that's my problem, nobody elses. Anton (and Graham) might say to steer clear of major Santa Pod ones.
As time goes on there will be more and more conflicts, that's inevitable. I guess at some stage we will have events which are more local, and some that could be considered "National Events". If that becomes the situation then folks can pick and choose what to attend (or not).

What ever we do in planning dates forward it will always clash with something that somebody else has planned. We can’t work round motoracing events for the few that might get to them.
