We have been offered another date Monday 25th July , by South West Karting at Haynes Museum . Sparkford . (between Yeovil and Wincanton, Somerset)
Unfortunately this was the only date available with them between now and September. Realise this may be tricky with Holidays etc.
Therefore we could do with knowing numbers by Friday 10th June please, to confirm booking with Haynes.
Thanks All

Please put me down for one CK possibly two if we can arrange transport. Graham A.

Sadly I am away on Holiday that week :-[

Thanks for letting us know , Mark. Thought it was going to be a busy period
-
C'mon people put your name down for what was a great event last year and could be even better this one.
-
Put me down as a spectator willing to pay. Unfortunately I'm still a behind on parts procurement for my own kart (wheels out of stock until the 10th of August)
-
Ok , Last call for Haynes 25th July.
So far;
Graham A (poss 2 CKarts)
Chris L
Stefan
Chris S
Possible Jim
Possible Graham H
Have I missed anyone ? That's a very generous offer Phillip , Don't think we could accept though.
-
Sorry, can't make it this time, I'm away.
-
Thanks Chris , for letting us know . Thought it was going to be a tricky time.
-
I am racing up north somewhere, the week before not the day before as I first thought so If we get close to the numbers to make this happen I can also come along.
-
There is a possibility that this event could be revived with lesser numbers than ten , be great if we could achieve ten but realistically ...
As it was discussed yesterday at Brooklands Relived 22, a way has been found.
It's Monday 25th July . Haynes Museum and Kart track. Sparkford . Between Wincanton and Yeovil A303
It would be a later start ; Say 11 am , to allow those travelling distances , get there in time and negate the need for a stop over the night before.
Please put your name down for this event / Re confirm .
Just waiting hear back , confirm if we can still have it , after cancelling .
Thanks , Chris L

Sounds great, I'll be there.

There is an outside chance of me being there as I will be in Berrow, Worcestershire this weekend with friends, one of who lives near Yeovil and may be around. I will know more by Saturday. I would be a spectator only (the paint is still wet ;D )
-
Be great to see you both; Jim and Phillip, Spectating is fine ;D

Thanks Andy ;D

is this also open for non-members to attend as spectators?
I've never actually seen a cyclekart, and I've been meaning to visit the museum for years so this looks like the perfect opportunity to do both.
-
Hi Gareth , Yes you are more than welcome .
Come over have a chat, there are others coming to spectate who are building / close to finishing .

Yes a fun day - thank you Chris for organising and to Chris and Graham for making it feasible. A good fun day and great to see current builders and prospective builders there too.

Thank you to everyone who made the day happen, it was a great event. My first time seeing cyclekarts in action didn't disappoint.
And a big thank you to Chris for letting me have a go in your kart! It really has spurred me on.

Thanks all for organising this, my first viewing of a real life cyclekart and a thrilling day. Thanks to all for your enthusiasm when I asked too many questions, it was enlightening. A great day.
