WarAg Living History Festival is a 2 day celebration of life on Westonzoyland Airfield during its operational era, with military vehicles, aircraft, re-enactors and vintage tractors. Airfield Aces complete the lineup of nostalgic vehicles at Middlezoy Aerodrome by providing a scaled down homage to the golden age of motor racing. As the South West regional group of CKGB we would like to invite fellow Cyclekarters to take part.

We will have a static display based around our period inspired clubhouse and will be parading around the Aerodrome and Parade ground under marshall control whilst a commentator describes our vehicles.  For this event CycleKarts will run a reduced course, known as “the short circuit”. There will be free practice and display driving on the track.  Alternatively, we may have a remote area of flat grass set aside for practice driving, with free practice sessions. This will be a practice noncompetitive event under a NORA practice permit.

The other thing you can do to influence the final drive ratio with the Comet TAV is to fit a collar on the driven pulley, between the sheaves.  By restricting the movement of the outer sheave you can vary the drive ratio between 3:1 and 1:1, I have mine set at 2:1 which allows the engine to rev a bit higher.

Hello Bazzerg,
One of our Southwest Regional members lives in Dorset, Ringwood I think.  It's quite a drive but you are welcome to come along to any of our meetings which are held every other weekend at Middlezoy Aerodrome in Somerset.  We have a meeting this weekend.
