It was great to see some CKers' yesterday at Silverstone and have a chat about the S&G charity grand prix. Thanks to those who volunteered to make some trophy's for races. They're going to be pretty wacky by the sound of it. Things are coming along with new ideas for fun things to do with a CK and the scene setting accessories to give the track a truly vintage look. The working party day is starting to become more party and less working, judging by some of the conversations yesterday, which is nice. So folks get your karts done, get your club membership and Nora and join us for possibly the greatest day of your life.(ok the last part might be over selling it a bit)

With Silverstone out of the way yesterday, which was a cracking day with some tremendous cars thundering around the track and a catch up with some of CKGB massive. We now have Stretton in about 10 days, woohoo. This lovely little track set in a vintage feel landscape will give an excellent morning of testing,Maybug medal and having fun in your CK. Be there or be O. (I don't have a square button so an O had to do)

The banner on the stand. Is it worth bringing it or not.

My CK is ready and loaded in the van. I can bring the CKGB banner as I have made a stand for it. I think we'll be on hard standing if we're in a garage.

hi Ian, glad you're coming along. It will be best to book Sunday Lunch with the pub, I am going to hang on because if the weather is going to be sunny and warm(I'm sure it will) there will be a BBQ also. I will be looking closely at the weather just before the event and should know by the Wednesday before if the pub needs to get BBQ shopping in. I will be reserving a roast on the wed evening if it looks like rain.

Andy B tried the link to the merch people on the website and ordered a couple of items. I tried an XL t shirt which was slightly big on me. Which when you consider I have the frame of a racing snake lol, it was ok. I thought the print was good and not too heavy. Anyways up here are some photos of me modelling it. I'll be on the cover of Vogue next week so get your orders in quick.
