The email address that you put in when registering is where the ticket will be emailed to.  Please note that this will come through from email@livepromotions.co.uk, please also remember to check your spam folder.

You will need to repeat this process for each ticket.  The system will retain information to save typing most of this again.

Each unique personnel weekend ticket will be scanned in and exchanged for a wristband. Wristbands are to be worn for the entire weekend including build up and show days. Any wristbands torn are void and will therefore have to be purchased at the standard exhibitor rate. Please do not lose your wristbands, as they cannot be re-issued.

Additional passes can be purchased via your E-Net portal at the advanced rate., you must speak with your Account Manager to allocate these in your portal. Your free of charge allocation as part of your stand agreement MUST be pre-registered.

Hi Nick, Lunch isn't included in the £70 but it is an excellent venue/track and we have a perfect safety record here.

All those people who are still coming to Sywell and supporting events organised by the CKGB please bring a helmet and gloves as there is a good possibility I can blag us some demo runs up the runway and have a blast around the apron in front of a very large crowd.

I now use a chain tensioner on both my drive chains for a few reasons. I have always had one on the slack side of my chain that links the sprocket on the intermediate lay shaft to the back axle due it having rear suspension. This allows for the slack to be regulated as the leaf spring suspension goes up and down and also as it tilts as one side goes up or down more than the other. This chain has amazingly never come off and it has been put though some punishment on and off road.
I fitted the second tensioner after the fantastic and exciting event at the Star and Garter. The primary chain between the engine centrifugal clutch and the lay shaft stretched and rode over the sprocket teeth causing quite a bit damage. I use 08B chain because I get it free but it does stretch quite easily under my driving style. Half links are available for this chain.
Since then my homemade tensioner has stopped the chain coming off, I've just broke other bits of the kart instead.

Events / Whilton Mill test and tune day. Oct 16th 2023
« on: 11 Sep 23, 07:59 am »
Whilton Mill have confirmed our booking for the large and fun to drive international track on Oct 16th. We have the course between 9am and 1pm. We can have transponders so your lap times can be measured and displayed to help your testing. There will be a sprint and other fun testing events. Afterwards there will be lunch in the excellent restaurant and a chance for an informal builders meet or just chat about stuff. At the moment the price is £70 per kart including transponder and 1 driver. Additional drivers will only be £10 extra. If you are a CKGB member and wish to go to this top class facility please send an email to ckgbmembership@gmail.com to express your interest. You can also make your payment to him.
Cheers Jim.

Here is an idea I'm working on that may interest you chaps. I have mounted the pedal assembly on a seat runner from an old mobility scooter. The runner is very sturdy and can easily be bolted down. There's about 5-6" of movement.
