Hi All
I'm Peter from north Durham, I have been interested in cyclekarts since I first saw them some years ago but too many other things going on to think about building one and the fact everyone else and all the events seem to be well south.
I just need to get ride of a few motorcycles and make some room and hopefully some money then I can start to build a kart. If there is anyone else in the Durham area please speak up it would be nice to know if there are others if/when I build mine.
I have picked out an inspiration car but I will keep that quiet for now. Hope to meet up with some of you soon.

Peter

Hey Stefan

Could I please reserve No:170 for my GN Minx Special (still under construction).  It should be rolling and ready for testing early this season.

It's Romilly's number and something to do with her birthday.

Thanks in advance.

Tim & Romilly

Hi Folks, I am totally new to Cycle Karts. Myself and three mates have a men’s club up in north east Scotland and we restore cars and other things and have decided this year we will build a cycle kart, hence I have joined for ideas and inspiration.

Thanks for the info, too many other projects on the go.  Saw them racing at the Cholmondley Pageant of Power many years ago and was very impressed.

Where to get stuff / Re: Pit bike wheels and tyres

Talking to Alex at Red Circles today and he has upped his order quantity for 17" x 1.6" wheels again from his supplier. He is expecting them in February and will take pre-orders from the end of January. Don't ring him before, he will probably just ask you to call back at the end of January.
He is expecting 60 on the container. Prior batches have been sold at £200 for four wheels, four tubes and four road tyres from a choice of tyres inc. delivery.
