Build journals / Re: Morgan F build

I'll have you know I'm 5'6", tall for a Welshman! Yes though, it'll mean that someone quite a bit taller than me will be able to drive it.

Does that mean someone other than a mid sized Welshman may be able to fit Chris?  :)

Great news, I must admit to holding back on completing something again until there was more interest locally. I have a number of places where we could run, not kart circuits.

I would be up for a Midlands  test / tune day in the week depending on my shifts, also a Midlands builders meet and chat (again shift work dependant)
Anyone else Midlands based interested?

Very few entry forms received so far for this event, please don't leave it till the very end to submit your entry form as it results in a lot of admin for the organisers.

Build journals / Midlanders Unite

Judging from a recent post on Facebook it looks like there is now an appetite for a Midland Group of CycleKarters. This is a sign of much great progress generally within the club .... well done to all who put in hard work behind the scenes.
A Midland group could offer more contact between builders with an opportunity to meet up to discuss technical matters and also some track activity.
I have recently been in contact with Stretton Circuit Leicester to understand the possibility of just turning up for test and tune days and they have looked upon this favourably. The fee is £35 for the day. We would have to fit around any corporate karts booked on track, however from past experience this has not been a problem if a mid-week day is chosen.
We would be individual fee-payers to the circuit (not as a club) and as such fall under their regulations for the day, avoiding CKGB NORA paperwork.
Jay, you initiated the original post on Facebook, can you confirm that you see this as a way forward and also whether it is your wish to head-up the group please.
If anybody else has additional thoughts on this please also comment.
