The Star and Garter pub has very kindly been onto Radio Northampton and they have been publicising the event this week.

I have been having a bit of trouble starting my cycle kart, it needs a bit of throttle once it’s gets hot to start.

It’s been made worse by fitting a Juggernaut clutch which doesn’t have much slack before it launches.

This means once the engine fires it wants to take off like it did at Stretton.

Chris Loader suggested a line lock on the brakes last week so I fitted one tonight  and it seems to be very effective so hopefully this will make starting easier and safer.  Providing a very effective handbrake.
