Hi Everybody.

And first off, a big thank you to Stefan for setting up this new platform for all things 'CycleKarts GB'.

A year ago I had no idea what a CycleKart was; I just came across them on Pinterest whilst looking for general car stuff. I was hooked immediately and did a fair bit of research like everybody else, soon meeting up with Rhys Nolan and Wes Raynor, both fairly local (Wes set up the original 'CycleKarts GB' Facebook Page).

I started pulling cars to bits in my teens, but then work and family life took over. Now recently retired, I want to catch up on some of the 'petrol-related' hobbies that passed-me-by before it's too late.

CycleKarting hit me straight away as combining many different skills: research, design, metalwork, woodwork, engineering, etc.  Then after all the fun of building it, you get to run around with similar mad people! Can it get any better?

I completed my MG 'M Type' Brooklands 'Double 12' just in time for the September 'Stretton Circuit' meeting. However there is still plenty of 'tweaking' to be done before its next serious outing.

Hi Graham
Next month I'm testing my  CK at Red Lodge Karting near Newmarket.
I sounded out the manager regarding a CK event.
He was positive, but it would have to be a weekday - do you think there would be any interest?
