Nice to know Morrisgarage, I'm in the south lake district area and just trying to get my head around it all before I commit to a build. So much information, so many routes I could go. I have changed my mind four times in the last week on the basic design. I am mad about three wheelers but not set in stone about that layout. It would be nice to go to a meet. I am checking my calendar for March but not sure yet.

... You can lead a horse to water, but a pencil must be lead.

It sounds the same as me  two weeks ago when I joined. I have read loads of posts and tech stuff and there is so much to take in that
it was confusing at first. However, having read more relevant bits, it has become a little clearer which way to go. I have fancied an old car for a while, especially one with my name on it..Morris, but it really wouldn't be used much. Then I discovered Cyclekarts and thought, did Morris make a pre war racing car? Yes, although it was built  as an MG, it has the Morris badge on the radiator. It is known as "Old number one" as it was the first Morris Garages car to be built for competition. Wading through the tech stuff can be frustrating, but it does make sense after a bit. Hope that helps, if only a bit.  If I can help in any way, get in touch.

Any builder/owners near South Yorkshire?
I sure would value a build buddy.
I'm not quite as green as I'm cabbage sounding.

Graham Hill is Leicester, I'm in Tamworth, Adrian in Hinkley if they are close enough. BTW I do commend your desire to do a Stevenson .
We must avoid torturing our brains with false problems, it occupies but it can annoy. In jest!
