At this stage in the development of cycleKarting in this country I’m all for encouraging people as we explore the edges and also potential new suppliers.  I’m also fascinated by the different aspects and ideas the diverse group of builders are bringing to the sport here.

I’m not particularly interested in chasing more power and speed for the sake of it and do feel that if more formal racing does start, then a stock engine may be the way to go if that includes more people.  There could even be different classifications.

My feeling is that is best evolved by the people actively involved in the sport here with good grace and plenty of good humour.

From what I’ve read, the Tillotson sounds like an interesting engine to try and so look forward to having a play.

Now if we could find a V-twin with exposed valve rockers at an affordable price and similar performance to the stock Honda then I’d be really interested because that would look sooo cool.
