oil

I am in a bit of a quandary regarding the subject of oil.
Cut price racing in Australia says this...
https://cutpriceracing.com.au/store/Page44/
"DO NOT USE FULLY SYNTHETIC OILS"
Yet the GX tuning store seems to recommend them.

What are your thoughts?

From the Honda GX200 manual: "SAE 10W-30 is recommended for general use". That's what I'd use, we're only using our engines occasionally, and not thrashing them even then, just use a decent quality oil, and change it more frequently if you're concerned.

Thanks Chris, its the conflicting advice around synthetic that threw me. One recommends, one says keep away.
If the grades cover the 10w-30 range and it meets or exceeds API SJ I get it but why not synthetic in particular, I would have thought synthetic would be much superior as in other engines it keeps its spec for longer in use?
