At 1/6 engine speed I'm not sure if you would have enough rpm to get the centrifugal force on the clutch drum. lighter springs should help but i don't think it will be enough.
If you can drive round corners, you're not going fast enough.

Done some more research and tend to agree there Jim, I see some 2:1 reducers have a wet clutch built in, might be a better bet.

Chris s.  Uses one of those 2:1 boxes with good results.

When I was a first year undergrad, we were invited to sit-in on a tutorial of the final year students, who all seemed so very clever and erudite and used loads of big words. I was completely in awe of them and wondered if I would ever be as confident or knowledgeable as they were; I was sure I never would.

I feel a bit like that on this thread

Gearing is something I need to mug up on. I wonder where to start.
