A thread all about tyres...

What tyres are you using?  Where did you get them?  How much did they cost?

My pitbike wheels came with tyres that I want to change to a more period look, which for me means nearer the wide end of what the rim can take, tall and ideally a slightly flatter profile.

Stefan. Last year I found Demon Tweeks to be competitive, you can maybe compare?

for information if it helps !

We used the Vee Rubber VRM 087GT, Be careful, these tires have very little rubber !! 3mm max in new condition.....Some slips on the macadam and these tires live 3h
By cons Vee Rubber VRM-015 are very good ! always the same on my Bugatti 13 for two years .....

It would be helpful to know a brand! I have asked.

Agreed, I didn't bother asking as I'm a way off needing them.

So yours are Cougar Stefan, from the same supplier, looking at their other tyres got me to this listing: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250-17-MOTORCYCLE-TYRE-REAR-FITMENT-E-MARKED-FITS-HONDA-C90-CUB/264202681201?hash=item3d83b4fb71:g:1SMAAOSww4Jcaqd~, same tread pattern as the pair.

I still think you chaps should review options at Demon Tweeks. I posted regarding bargain on 18th April and I think they are still on offer together with alternatives.

agreed Graham, but £55 plus freight is trumped by £44 including!

Andy B on this forum had some tyres going cheap.
If you can drive round corners, you're not going fast enough.
