I’m not sure the Australian guy is correct about standing the engine up.  My new kart has a vertical engine and is running just fine.

I haven't tried the Anlas tyres, I have used Camac's which are a good budget brand and not had any issues.

Some of the TAVs from eBay seem to be out of line despite fitting the spacers supplied.  I have had to put my own spacers in to get the two pulleys to line up.

We have been invited to Beaulieu to display karts at the International Autojumble which is held on 5th-7th September.
Admission is £25 for the 3 days and includes camping on site.
It’s a static event only so no driving.
It’s an excellent opportunity to get into the Autojumble on the Friday which is normally trade only and bag a bunch of parts for your next cyclekart build.
Karts will then be displayed on the Saturday/Sunday next to the main arena/auction area.
Please let me know if you are interested in attending.

Left foot brake and right foot throttle for me,

If you only have pedals on the right it must be difficult to brake and use the throttle at the same time.

It is all a bit confusing but only because of all the miss information on the web and all the engines vary depending on the territory they are sold in.

You need to look at

https://www.honda-engines-eu.com

For European engines, anything else is probably wrong.  Most of the suppliers list them incorrectly.

The part number I use is in the attached picture, (the top one qx3)
