I've been using 4Ah motorcycle batteries and never had a problem.

This is a Dynamic Builder’s Meet allowing builders to test & tune their Cyclekarts in preparation for the coming season.  The Airfield Aces concrete oval will be used for this event as there will be no racing.  Cyclekarts will be test driven around the concrete oval under marshal control.  New builders (  NORA Race Licence mandatory ) will have the opportunity to experience Cyclekart driving in volunteer’s Cyclekarts.  Camping is available on site throughout the weekend and there will be a barbeque on the Saturday evening.
