This first post of this topic will be updated as and when information is received or becomes available.

AIRFIELD ACES RELIVED

This is a CKGB Exclusive. The Event is hosted by CKGB South West Region and will take place across The Airfield Aces track.

The plan is to have a range of events, Sprints, Endurance / Consistency and possible Pursuits together with Parades. Sprints, Endurance / Consultancy races will be timed / counted with points counting to the overall results.

Several track layouts are possible and depending on track and weather conditions, short (250m) and long (600m) configurations are available.

This will be a 2 day event, with camping available for Friday to Sunday as required, there will be an opportunity to have a static display based around the period inspired CKSW clubhouse.

This will be competitive event under a NORA permit.

DATE:  11th to 12th July
VENUE: Middlezoy airfield cyclekart track (near Bridgwater)

EVENT REGULATIONS:  To Follow

COSTS: These will be in the region of - £45 or £55 Per driver for the weekend.

Camping is available with fee of £10 per night paid locally.

There are also options locally like Premier inn and local Pubs / B and B's, Trailers can be left at the Aerodrome.

If there is sufficient interest a BBQ will be organised for the Saturday Night.

OTHER COMMENTS:  Any help from your partners / family / guests for Marshalling / Catering both on and off the track is always appreciated.

ENTRANTS:
Please can you give an early indication of entering by posting a % probability of entry, which will allow the club to finalise the entry fees.

Please can you also indicate if you can fill any of the event support roles. Once I have your entry forms I will mark you as ENTERED.

Now is the time to get your entry forms to Glynn (Yep to Glynn not to me as we are away for this event!!) (attached to the first post)

The intent is to use the 'short course' grass and concrete straight and ovel.

Saturday will be set up in the morning - there is also a builders meeting on the 27th Sep to cut the grass and prepare the tyres etc.

Word format Event Form added - I had trouble loading files as they were to big? But looks to have been the rules and regs in Word that caused the problem.
